Mara. J XXL - Ametrine Dusk

In the vertical, slender format, a pale, bright gold occupies the upper part of the canvas, dense with leaves that seem to hold back the light. Descending, the color warms to peach, salmon, and rust, with foliage increasingly defined and close. Toward the bottom violet leaves emerge that merge into a brown base, deep and velvety. Thin green stems rise from the bottom, guiding the gaze upward. The surface is tactile, built up through layers of vegetal imprints and glazes. From it arises a warm and harmonious image, gently accompanying the transition from light to evening.
