Hit camera, subminiature or "spy camera" designed to be small and unobtrusive.
Made in Japan.
Produced from the late 1940s and popular in the 1950s.
Used special roll film (often 14 mm wide) on which small negatives were shot.
It has a metal housing with faux leather covering and the distinctive text "Hit" and "Made in Japan" on the lens ring surrounded by small stars.
Shipped by registered mail.

Geproduceerd vanaf het najaar van de jaren 1940 en populair in de jaren 1950.
