The story behind the photo:
During a walk along the Scheveningen coast I was seeking serenity and silence. With my camera in hand, I captured the sea as it was at that moment: still, endless, and unhurried. The soft horizon, the rhythm of the water, and the vastness of the landscape return everything to what truly matters. Simplicity. Silence. Space. Elements that recur in my work.

Moments when the noise fades away and there is nothing else needed but simply to look. North Sea Silence is a diptych for dreamers, for those who can drift away at the horizon, find beauty in quiet, and occasionally return to that feeling.
