Description from the seller

An unMissable opportunity for audiophiles and fans of the Japanese Hi-Fi golden age. We present at auction a magnificent and imposing pair of Technics SB-G910 floorstanding speakers, true giants of acoustic engineering from the 1980s.
:
Developed by the legendary Matsushita Electric in the early '80s, the SB-G910 perfectly embody the philosophy of “big sound” and the “muscle-speaker” aesthetics of that decade. In an era when the brand war was fought with driver sizes and acoustic sensitivity, Technics created this uncompromising model to rule large living rooms. Today, these speakers are not just playback tools but authentic pieces of audio design history. They are highly sought after by collectors for their dramatic presence and for delivering an astonishing live-like dynamics, perfect for rock, funk, electronic, and disco of the era. Finding a pair today in this exceptional preservation state is an extremely rare event.

4-Way, 5-Driver Configuration: A complex system designed to cover the entire sound spectrum with surgical precision, without overlaps.
The legendary “Super Bass” Woofer: The beating heart of the system is the enormous 41 cm (16 inch) white-cone woofer, tuned in bass-reflex via dual front bass ports. It is capable of reaching earth-shaking lows, delivering a firm, deep, and tactile bass that can be felt in the gut.
Record-Breaking Efficiency: With an incredible sensitivity of a remarkable 99 dB/W at 1 meter, these speakers are incredibly easy to drive. They can transform even mid-wattage amplifiers (or classic vintage receivers) into true concert machines, delivering very high volumes effortlessly.

Twin horn-loaded super-tweeters stand out, equipped with exclusive lamella louvers for optimal stereo dispersion. To crown the front panel’s technological charm, we find the iconic LED protection indicator, a wonderfully 80s touch.
Up to 300W (Music Power), for listening with very high dynamics without any distortion.

As widely documented in the photographic gallery, this pair presents itself in an optimal state of preservation.
The extremely delicate 41 cm white woofer cones are pristine, clean and free of structural sagging, as are the beautiful ochre fiber midranges. The massive cabinets, with their faux-wood side finish and the imposing black deflector, show minimal and inconsequential signs of time.
What makes this lot a true “Holy Grail” for Technics collectors is the presence of the original fabric grilles (often destroyed or lost over time, here in excellent condition) and, above all, the original era's instruction manual.
A safe investment and a piece of furniture with a strong industrial-vintage character. Whether you are a die-hard Technics collector or simply looking for warm, powerful, and imposing vintage sound, the SB-G910 will dominate your listening room.

Considering the size and weight (35 kg total) and to preserve the collectible integrity of the item, the speakers will be packed obsessively and professionally, with high-density shock-absorbing materials, and shipped via traceable express courier.
Possibility of in-person pickup for local buyers.
