Description from the seller

Bianchi Racing 14 Speed Vintage - Vintage Racing Bicycle by Bianchi with Oria tubes Shimano Exage

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
In auction, an iconic and fascinating vintage racing bicycle by Bianchi, the historic Italian cycling symbol worldwide. The frame is built with Oria Crok Oly Tre Tubes steel, characterized by the unmistakable two-tone gradient livery that blends the classic Bianchi celeste green with glossy black. The model features the original vintage graphics Racing Everywhere and Bianchi Racing 14 Speed spread across the frame, in addition to the Bianchi logo engraved on the headset/steerer clamp.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS AND VISIBLE COMPONENTS
The bicycle is equipped with a reliable vintage Shimano Exage 400EX 14-speed groupset. The transmission includes the rear derailleur Shimano Exage 400EX, front derailleur Shimano Exage, aluminum crankset with oval Biopace double chainrings, vintage metal pedals with toe clips and leather straps, and down-tube shift levers branded Shimano Light Action. The braking system uses classic brake calipers operated by racing brake levers with palm rests and cable housings in the signature celeste green color. The cockpit includes a pantographed aluminum Bianchi handlebar stem with a blue-wrapped bend. Completing the setup are a black sport saddle, a bottle cage on the frame, and 28-inch wheels with aluminum rims.

CONDITION AND RECOMMENDED WORKS
Being a vintage specimen that has been preserved and left unused for a long period in a garage or storage, the bike presents in good overall structural and mechanical condition. As a historic vehicle held in rest for some time, before riding it on the road a routine general inspection is recommended, along with lubrication of the linkages, adjustment of the brakes and shifting, and checking the condition of tires and inner tubes. Aesthetically it preserves its authentic original patina, showing small signs of wear, light scratches on the paint, and superficial bloom that testify to its history.

SHIPPING AND PACKAGING NOTES
The lot will be packed with extreme care and shipped via a tracked and insured courier. Note that, in order to ensure safer shipping and reduce package volume, parts of the bicycle such as pedals, saddle, wheels, and the handlebars will very likely be removed for shipment.
