The CD-01U is an extremely compact CD player. The CD-01U's 19" rack chassis includes a clearly legible display and durable CD handling buttons, a slot-loading drive that reads standard audio CDs (CD-R and CD-RW), as well as MP3 CDs with diameters of 8 and 12 cm. Along with the typical playback functions and types of repetition, the player offers many features for professional use, such as auto cue (search for the start of a track), auto ready (automatic pause at the end of a track), call (jumps to the position where playback started last), pitch control (±12%) including the ability to alter tempo without changing the pitch, intro-check or fade-in/fade-out. To be able to integrate it into media control devices and permanent installations, it features relay playback, fader-start, EOM signal and a serial port.
