Otodus megalodon specimen from Sukabumi, Indonesia, dating to the Quaternary (Pleistocene) 2.58–0.0117 million years ago, natural fossil with original condition, weighing 300 g and measuring 14 × 10 × 3 cm.
Description from the seller
A stunning, fully natural Otodus megalodon from Sukabumi, Indonesia. This is exactly the kind of tooth where the natural appearance takes center stage. The tooth has a beautiful, warm beige/gold-brown color in the enamel, with subtle dark discolorations and natural color variations that have arisen through millions of years of fossilization.
What I personally find most beautiful about this tooth is its strong, broad shape and the lovely natural appearance of the enamel. The fine serrations are still clearly visible around the tooth and give it that typical Megalodon look. The root is also nicely large and robustly preserved.
On both sides the natural structure, color variations and fossilization are well visible. You can clearly see that this is a fossil with its own character and history, not an artificially updated or recolored tooth.
A beautiful original natural Megalodon for collectors who especially value authenticity and a tooth that doesn’t have to be perfect to be impressive. The natural age, texture and color make every Sukabumi specimen unique.
Would you like to add this gorgeous Megalodon to your collection? Then this is your chance! Make a nice and serious offer, and who knows, this unique, fully natural tooth could soon be yours.
