Sugar Shaker Art Deco Empire Plate (Australia) & Liberty Silverware Spoon (France) – Silvered Metal – Circa 1930
Description:
Elegant Art Deco-era tableware set comprising a sugar shaker and its matching spoon.
• Sugar shaker: Double-handle model with a hinged lid. Made in Melbourne, Australia by Empire Plate Silverware Pty Ltd. Signed “Empire Plate” and “E.P.N.S.” under the base.
• Sugar spoon: High-quality silvered metal model from the prestigious Liberty Silverware (Château-Gontier, France). Bears the official square punch “OL” with the Statue of Liberty and the weight indication “10 g”.
Condition:
• Sugar shaker: Good used condition, no dents. Hinged mechanism impeccable. Visible wear to the silver plating (golded sections) on the handles and hinge. Interior with a natural dark patina.
• Spoon: Excellent condition, nice shine, tiny signs of wear.
