Impressive Dutch-style frame that stands out for the notable width of its molding and its deep black finish. Its stepped profile combines bands of geometric texture, wavy cornices, and smooth moldings, creating an elegant play of volumes and depth.
The patina, wear, and small abrasions of the finish enhance its antique character and give personality to the piece. The width of the molding provides a particularly decorative presence, ideal for highlighting a painting, a portrait, or a mirror.
