In this lot, a splendid medium-format professional twin-lens reflex (TLR) camera: the Mamiya C3 Professional, produced in Japan by Mamiya Camera Co. Ltd. starting in 1962.
The lot is presented in good overall condition, perfectly functioning, and is complete with its removable standard Mamiya-Sekor lens, the waist-level viewfinder, and the corresponding original double front cap.
Optics: The camera mounts the original pair of standard lenses on an interchangeable Mamiya-Sekor plate with a 1:2.8 f=80mm. The lenses are in excellent cosmetic condition, completely free of scratches or traces of mold.
Mechanical: The lot has been tested and is working. The Seikosha-S mechanical shutter responds correctly to the shutter release and fires smoothly at the various speeds set on the chrome ring. The two lower knurled knobs for focusing move smoothly, extending the internal bellows regularly.
Aesthetics: Good general condition, as clearly documented by the photographs. The sturdy metal body preserves its original structural stability well, showing the classic and normal signs of surface aging with light localized wear along the outer metallic edges.
