An elegant antique German silver salt cellar bearing the mark of Elimeyer, Dresden, dating to approximately 1900.

Made of solid 800 silver, the piece features elaborate Rococo-style decoration, with finely detailed foliage, sweeping scrollwork and beautifully shaped feet. The interior is gilded, providing a lovely contrast with the silver exterior.

The underside bears the ELIMEYER mark, the German silver hallmarks, the 800 fineness mark and the stamped number 63863.

The salt cellar weighs 123 grams and is in good antique condition, with natural patina and minor signs of wear consistent with its age.
