Description from the seller
This is a limited first edition of 1000 copies, complete with a serial-numbered slipcase. It's signed by Nobuyoshi Araki and in beautiful, rare condition.
When Nobuyoshi Araki paints flowers on his canvas with primary-colored Liquitex paints,
red flowers become even redder, yearning for life and burning with passion,
and withered flowers become the burial makeup, like applying rouge to a dead person in a coffin.
Araki's passionate explorations of this chaotic society and humanity become the moment the new century erupts.
The book includes a dialogue with Daido Moriyama, "On Flowers," at the end. Please be aware of VAT and customs duties! Due to my busy business trips, it may take up to a week for your order to be shipped. After shipping from Japan, it will take approximately 1-2 weeks for it to arrive in Europe. This is a used item, so there may be some minor scratches, scuffs, and dirt on the exterior due to age, but the text and photos are in good condition
