Description from the seller
Moroccan Fulgurites – Set of 4 natural specimens
Description
A set of four fulgurites from southern Morocco, in the Ouarzazate region.
Fulgurites are natural formations that can form when lightning strikes a silica-rich soil. The intense heat causes partial fusion of the material, which then solidifies into structures that are sometimes tubular.
These four specimens display elongated, irregular shapes, rough and granular surfaces, and natural tones of brown, ochre, and rust. The broken ends reveal lighter zones that contrast with the outer surfaces.
Each piece has its own morphology, giving this set particular interest for mineral collectors, geology enthusiasts, and lovers of natural curiosities.
This lot offers an original presentation of formations attributed to the action of lightning on sandy soil.
