kunstatelier - Statuette, Discobolos - 17 cm - Bronze

The famous bronze statue of the discus thrower (the Diskobolos) was originally made of bronze around 450 BC by the Greek sculptor Myron of Eleutherae. From the patina, this is an old copy. The figurine, 10 cm tall, stands on a sandstone block 7 cm high. Total height 17 cm. A beautiful specimen!
