Immersed in Japanese culture and the ancient techniques of woodblock printing, ATO NAOKI distorts the traditional art of printmaking (ukiyo-e) by incorporating the heroes of his generation. A significant part of his reflection involves linking the ancient world and our present era in anachronistic ways until it makes sense. His works are now present in art galleries and among many enthusiasts in Europe and Asia.
