LEGO Star Wars 10240 – Red Five X-wing Starfighter – Ultimate Collector Series (2013)

An extraordinary opportunity to acquire one of the most iconic and highly sought-after LEGO Star Wars Ultimate Collector Series sets: the legendary Red Five X-wing Starfighter, originally released in 2013 by the renowned Danish toy manufacturer LEGO.

For generations of Star Wars enthusiasts, the X-wing Starfighter has represented the very essence of the Rebel Alliance. Immortalised in the original 1977 film Star Wars: A New Hope, this legendary spacecraft became one of the most recognisable vehicles in cinematic history, forever associated with Luke Skywalker and his daring mission to destroy the Death Star.

LEGO paid tribute to this extraordinary piece of science-fiction history with set 10240, an impressive 1,554-piece Ultimate Collector Series masterpiece designed specifically with adult enthusiasts and serious collectors in mind.

A true icon of the LEGO Star Wars Ultimate Collector Series.

The Ultimate Collector Series, commonly known as UCS, represents some of LEGO’s most ambitious and prestigious Star Wars creations. Distinguished by their impressive scale, intricate construction techniques and exceptional attention to detail, these sets have developed a passionate international following.

The Red Five X-wing Starfighter is a particularly celebrated example of this tradition. Its remarkable design faithfully recreates the unmistakable silhouette of Luke Skywalker’s legendary spacecraft, complete with its distinctive opening S-foils, detailed engines and impressive wingspan.

The model also includes a dedicated display stand and information plaque, allowing this spectacular spacecraft to be presented as a true collector’s exhibition piece.

Accompanied by an exclusive R2-D2 astromech droid minifigure, the set captures the spirit of the original Star Wars trilogy in a way that few LEGO models can match.

A highly desirable retired UCS release.

Since its retirement, the original 2013 Red Five X-wing Starfighter has established itself as a desirable addition to serious LEGO Star Wars collections.

While LEGO has revisited the legendary X-wing design over the years, this particular edition retains its own distinctive identity and an important place in the history of the Ultimate Collector Series.

For dedicated UCS collectors, the original releases represent more than impressive construction models. They are milestones in the evolution of LEGO Star Wars, reflecting the design techniques, presentation and craftsmanship of their respective eras.

More than a decade after its introduction, set 10240 continues to attract collectors who appreciate the combination of classic Star Wars nostalgia, substantial display presence and the prestige associated with the Ultimate Collector Series.
