Description from the seller
Kodak Six-16 – Foldable plate camera – Kodak Anastigmat f/6.3 – circa 1935
A Kodak Six-16, an American plate camera from the thirties of the last century. This camera combines art-deco design with the mechanical construction Kodak was known for during that period.
The camera is equipped with a Kodak Anastigmat f/6.3 lens with a focal length of 126 mm and a Kodak shutter with various shutter speeds. The folding bellows, the metal scissor construction and the chrome details give the camera its appearance.
The Kodak Six-16 was introduced in 1932 and was intended for making large, detailed negatives. Thanks to the folding design, this relatively large camera could still be stored compactly.
