Description from the seller
In astA an imposing, historic and fascinating early-century folding-bellows camera: the No. 3A Autographic Kodak Model C, produced in the United States by Eastman Kodak Company in Rochester between 1914 and 1924.
The lot is in generally good condition, with normal signs of use and storage consistent with the object's century-old age.
Optics: The instrument is equipped with its original Eastman Kodak lens paired with the central shutter. The lenses appear in good overall visual condition, consistent with a well-preserved example of the period.
Mechanical: The lot appears mechanically functional. The central mechanical shutter responds to manual controls, firing regularly at the adjustable speeds.
Aesthetics: Good overall condition, as clearly documented by the photographs. The metal body retains its original black leatherette covering, showing natural surface wear and the charm of time gone by. The chrome metal fittings maintain good structural solidity, while the brass front of the optical group shows a beautiful and intact vintage patina. The horizontally opening dark bellows is geometrically compact and free of evident structural sagging.
Tracked international shipping, fully insured and professionally super-protective packaging to ensure maximum safety during transport.
