Description from the seller
Beautiful antique copper coffee pot or teapot, featuring an unusual conical body decorated with deeply embossed geometric and stylized leaf motifs.
The vessel has an elegant elongated curved spout, an engraved metal handle, and a distinctive hinged domed lid with a decorative finial.
The construction displays traditional metalworking techniques, with separately attached components, visible joints, and intricate ornamental details.
The copper surface retains its authentic aged patina, showing natural oxidation, tarnishing, and traces of prolonged use. The interior appears to retain remnants of an old tin lining.
Age and provenance
This piece has been in the same Italian family for at least 60 years and was already considered old and no longer in use during the early 1960s.
Its style and construction suggest a possible Middle Eastern or Ottoman influence, potentially dating from the late 19th to early 20th century. Exact origin and dating have not been independently authenticated.

Height: 21 cm
Base diameter: 16 cm
Weight: approximately 1 kg
Material: presumed copper with metal fittings and possible tin lining
