Akai AP-206C direct-drive turntable from 1978, in good physical condition and tested and working, weighing 6 kg, with no extras included.
Description from the seller
The Akai AP 206C is a very popular direct-drive turntable from 1978. This turntable starts up extremely stably and quietly thanks to the direct-driven DC servo motor. With the strobe illumination and the separate pitch controls you can manually correct the rotation speed (33 or 45 RPM) to needle-perfect accuracy. At the end of the record, the return mechanism ensures the tonearm neatly returns to its resting position. The model is legendary for its rugged, vibration-free and warm analog sound.
Specifications
• Platter: 314 mm aluminum alloy die-cast
• Speeds: 33-1/3 and 45 RPM
• Pitch control: ±2.5% range with individual speed adjustment pots
• Wow and Flutter: 0.035% WRMS
• Rumble: Better than 70 dB
• Tonearm: Static-balanced S-shaped tubular arm with adjustable anti-skating
• Effective Length: 220 mm (15 mm overhang)
• Dimensions (W x H x D): 440 x 158 x 350 mm
The Akai turntable works perfectly.
