Vintage Mid-Century Modern Tripod Table Lamp - Pearlshade style - 1950s/1960s

Beautiful and atmospheric vintage tripod table lamp in a characteristic Mid-Century Modern style from the 1950s/1960s.

The lamp is fitted with the original, organically shaped shade made of Rhodoid (cellulose acetate), which provides a beautiful diffused and warm ambient light.
The shade rests on a minimalist black metal tripod base with the distinctive elegant end caps on the legs.

The lamp is in a nice vintage condition. The fragile plastic shade has remained remarkably well preserved. The metal base has a lovely authentic patina that matches the age.
The wiring and switch are original and function properly.
Excludes light source (E27): the use of an LED bulb is strongly recommended to protect the shade from heat.
