Tool - A large, antique decanting funnel, also known as a wine-saving funnel

Ancient and large transfer funnel, also called Salvavina because, due to its peculiar shape, it prevented wine from spilling out. These funnels were made entirely by hand, hammered and punched, and came in various sizes, with a filter/grasparola. Usually of this size, No. 2, they were suitable for both professional winemakers and for family use. An excellent collectible item but also suitable for rustic furnishing.
