Description from the seller

SLOVAKIA. Kremnica. 200 Korún. 1994.

- Value: 200 Korún.
- Year: 1994.
- Inscriptions: Obverse: MOR HO! · SLOVENSKÁ REPUBLIKA · 200 Sk · 1994. Reverse: D-DAY · 6.6.1944.
- Grade: MS67 (PCGS).

commemorative silver 200 Korún coin minted by the Slovak Republic in 1994 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Allied landing in Normandy (D-Day). The obverse features a modern and geometric design with the Slovak national shield in the center, surrounded by the state motto and the face value. The inscription “MOR HO!” references the famous Slovak patriotic poem by Samo Chalupka, used here as a symbolic element of bravery and resilience. The reverse shows the emblem of an Allied military unit under the inscription “D-DAY”, accompanied by the historical date 6.6.1944 and maritime motifs evoking the amphibious operation. The overall style is contemporary with clean lines and contrasted surfaces. The MS67 grade certified by PCGS indicates a virtually perfect specimen, with intense original luster, highly reflective fields, sharp relief, and no significant visible marks, placing it among the best-preserved examples of this commemorative issue.

Disclaimer: For orders shipped outside the European Union, I want to leave absolutely clear that I do ship from Spain, which means that if the package is sent to any country outside the European Union, and/or inside EU that has special tax agreement (example: Canary Islands), it might be stopped in your local customs and they might ask you to pay taxes. This is a customs legal procedure and it is completely out of our control. Thanks for your understanding.
