A single grezzo Barite specimen weighing 543 g, 11 cm high, 9 cm wide and 6 cm deep, from Monte Onixeddu mines in Gonnesa, Sardinia, Italy, displaying tabular and prism-like yellow‑honey to amber crystals on a light porous host rock.
Description from the seller
This splendid collectible specimen presents itself as a rich and compact cluster of clearly defined Barite crystals. The crystals, characterized by a typical tabular and prismatic morphology, show a suggestive yellow-honey and amber hue, warm and semi-transparent. The surface of the piece is adorned with polyhedral crystal faces and sharp edges endowed with notable vitreous luster, able to reflect light finely. The formation develops in a strongly three-dimensional way, resting on a light and porous natural rock matrix, which harmoniously contrasts with the color and transparency of the crystals above.
The specimen comes from Monte Onixeddu Mines, Gonnesa (CI), Sardinia, Italy.
In crystal therapy, Barite is considered a stone of choice to promote mental clarity, memory and independence of thought, helping to free oneself from external conditioning. It is traditionally used to stimulate intuition, promote deep inner harmony and support personal and spiritual growth paths.
