AI-assisted summary
Description from the seller
CANON Autoboy 155, tested and working.
Hello from Japan!
We provide high-quality cameras and lenses to the world.
The Canon Autoboy 155 is a late-1990s member of Canon's long-running Autoboy line of autofocus compacts, the series that began in 1979 with the world's first autofocus 35mm compact camera. It combines a long-range Canon zoom lens with Canon's Ai AF multi-point autofocus, programmed exposure, a built-in flash and a date/caption function, all in a sleek silver body. A versatile, fully automatic film compact from the final generation of Japanese point-and-shoots.
Important — please read carefully:
The exposure reads about 2.5 stops over and the body has a dent on the top. Please consider this before bidding.
Condition: Used — Good
Pre-owned, heavy signs of use, or minor optical flaws
Serial Number
Please check the photo.
Appearance
A dent on the top of the body and scratches from use. Please check the photos for details.
Optical Condition
Lens: Clear, no issues
Functional
The camera powers on, the shutter fires and the zoom and autofocus work.
Measured Performance
We check these cameras on a shutter tester rather than by ear, and we publish what we measured:
- Light meter accuracy — EV12: 2.6 OVER / EV15: 2.5 OVER
Some of these deviations exceed what negative film can absorb — please read the Known Issues section and allow for them when shooting.
Known Issues
1. The exposure reads over: 2.6 stops at EV12 and 2.5 stops at EV15.
2. A dent on the top of the body (please check the photos).
Bundled Items
Only what you can see in the pictures will be included in the package.
Important Notes for Used Items
