AI-assisted summary
Description from the seller
RICOH TF-500D, tested and working.
Hello from Japan!
We provide high-quality cameras and lenses to the world.
The Ricoh TF-500D is a 1980s autofocus compact with an unusual twist: rather than a zoom, it carries two separate lenses — a 35mm f/2.8 wide and a 70mm f/5.6 tele — and switches between them at the flick of a lever. That dual-lens approach gave sharper results than the slow zooms of the period, and makes the camera an interesting piece of design history. It includes a built-in flash and a quartz databack.
Condition: Used — Excellent
Pre-owned, moderate signs of use, optics clear
Serial Number
Please check the photo.
Appearance
Scuffs and scratches from normal use. Please check the photos for details.
Optical Condition
Lens: Clear, no issues
Functional
The camera powers on, the shutter fires and autofocus works; exposure measured within the normal range.
Measured Performance
We check these cameras on a shutter tester rather than by ear, and we publish what we measured:
- Light meter accuracy — EV12: 0.4 OVER / EV15: 0.4 UNDER
Negative film has enough latitude to absorb deviations of this size, but the figures are here so you can judge for yourself.
Bundled Items
Only what you can see in the pictures will be included in the package.
Important Notes for Used Items
As this is a used item, subtle imperfections may exist that are not individually described.
