Description from the seller
HIGHLIGHTS:
• Elegant Jaguar E-Type Cabrio V12 from 1974
• Manual transmission and V12 engine
• Classic Data valuation
• German registration documents including H license plate
HISTORY/OVERVIEW:
The Jaguar E-Type Series 3 V12 belongs to the most iconic British roadster models of the 1970s, combining timeless design with the imposing performance of the twelve-cylinder engine. This vehicle was originally delivered to the UK and has been in Germany for many years. The previous owner used the roadster as a pure summer car for a period of at least 10 to 15 years before the current owner acquired the car from his circle of acquaintances.
BODY/PAINT:
The body is in well-kept and very appealing condition. According to the available information, the vehicle was repainted about 20 years ago and today shows minor signs of wear consistent with age. The underbody, according to the seller, is in good condition; rust perforations are not known. The mounted tires are from 2016 and still have a decent tread.
INTERIOR:
The black leather upholstery shows a slight, age-related patina. The carpets and footwells show minor visible signs of wear.
TECHNICAL:
The vehicle was regularly serviced for many years at a specialist workshop for English vehicles; the last documented service was in 2025. The manual gearbox shifts flawlessly and no further technical faults are known. A technical feature is an automatic auxiliary fan installed to improve heat management of the V12 engine.
DOCUMENTS:
The vehicle is supplied with German registration documents and H license plate. A Classic Data valuation from 2019 assigns the condition grade 2- with an indicated replacement value of €105,000. In addition, some maintenance invoices are available.
The vehicle can be visited and picked up in Germany. It is recommended to view the vehicle before submitting a bid. The costs for transport, ownership change, and any export documents/COC are to be borne by the buyer.

Disclaimer
Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
