Description from the seller
Vintage phonograph suitcase "Teleradio Misa" with Swiss Lenco mechanics – 1960s – Working
Appreciable portable phonograph case produced by the iconic Italian brand Teleradio Misa in the early 1960s. This model stands out in the mid-century scene for the presence of the reliable Swiss Lenco mechanics, a guarantee of build quality and precision compared to the standard mechanics of the era.
* Manufacturer: Teleradio Misa (Italy)
* Mechanics: Lenco (Switzerland) with belt drive
* Supported speeds: 4 speeds (16, 33, 45, 78 rpm)
* Design: Iconic two-tone cream and burgundy red case, with an organic vintage geometric relief texture on the enclosure. Front panel with white speaker grille and original volume and tone knobs.
The unit presents in good cosmetic condition, with minor and normal signs of aging that attest to its authenticity. Unlike most vintage devices available on the market, this phonograph suitcase is tested and FULLY FUNCTIONAL: the mechanics turn smoothly and the built-in speaker reproduces the sound correctly.
Auction notes: accompanying the item and intended as a gift to the winning bidder are 10 45 rpm records by Italian artists chosen at the seller's sole discretion.
