Description from the seller

Title:
Pair of antique etched glass brandy decanters with second-grade Dutch silver mounts - circa 1880
Originally intended for elegant serving of liqueur

Description:
A beautiful, matching pair of antique glass liqueur decanters. The clear glass features refined etched floral combing with flower motifs and branches. The decanters are finished with an elegant Dutch silver mount around the neck and shoulder, decorated with a classic pearl rim.

Silver hallmarks:
Both mounts bear exactly the same authentic Dutch hallmarks:
• Fineness mark: Dutch sword (used 1814-1905), indicating 2nd quality silver (.833).
• Master mark: Monogram "KS", indicating a registered 19th-century Dutch silversmith.

Condition:
In good, authentic condition with normal signs of aging for their age. The glass and silverwork are in decent shape. The original glasses with silver mounts are present; the accompanying safety chains are still intact. Note that the fastening loops on the silver neck rings are missing/not present, causing the chains to hang loose at the moment (easily repaired by a silversmith).

Dimensions: 18.5 x 8 x 8 cm
Weight per decanter: 157 g and 170 g.
Total weight: 327 g
