Welcome to my camera atelier! I have carefully inspected and prepared this beautiful Yashica camera for you.

Released in 1973, the Yashica Electro 35 GL is a wonderful classic rangefinder camera known for its excellent lens and auto-exposure system.

Since the original vintage batteries are no longer manufactured, a special adapter is required to use this camera today. As a special bonus, this set includes both the custom battery adapter and a fresh 4LR44 battery, allowing you to start using the camera right out of the box!

Before you read the condition details below, please allow me to share a quick note. Although there are a few functional notes to be aware of regarding the shutter button and film counter, the overall physical condition is exceptionally beautiful for its age. If you are understanding of these minor vintage quirks, I believe you will find this to be a truly fantastic camera for your collection or daily use!

[Appearance]
Beautiful condition. For its vintage age, the degree of scratches and dirt is extremely low, and there are no dents. Of course, there are some minor signs of age, so please kindly check the attached photos.

Please note: There is a horizontal line of dirt or residue on the indicator window right between the "SLOW" and "OVER" text. Please kindly refer to the photos to confirm this detail.

[Optics]
Excellent for practical use (based on the seller's subjective evaluation).
The lens maintains transparency. There is no severe fungus and no severe haze that could affect your shooting. The viewfinder visibility is good, and the rangefinder double-image is easy to align. The outer acrylic window of the viewfinder is clear with very little haze.

[Functional]
Tested and Working!
The shutter fires properly. The indicator lamps (power, SLOW, and OVER) light up properly. The auto-exposure (AE) is working, and the shutter speed changes correctly depending on bright and dark environments.

Please note the following functional details:
First, regarding the shutter button. After you press the shutter button, it stays depressed and does not spring back up immediately. However, when you wind the film advance lever for the next shot, the button clicks back up to its normal position. This does not affect actual shooting.

Second, the film counter is not working and does not advance. However, this does not affect the actual exposure or shooting mechanism.
