Description from the seller

Beautiful antique tilt-top dressing mirror (Psyche) in rich Baroque / Louis XVI style.
This highly decorative piece is crafted from heavy, finely cast metal (presumably brass or bronze) and has developed a splendid, authentic patina over the years.
The oval mirror is set in an elaborately decorated frame, crowned with a graceful ornament featuring floral motifs.
The mirror rests on a very sturdy and wide foot, adorned with classic scrolls and acanthus leaves, providing a stable stand and a monumental appearance.
Thanks to the two original, beautifully designed turning screws on the sides, the mirror can be tilted smoothly to the desired angle.
An absolute showpiece for a vanity table, sideboard, or in a classic/eclectic interior.
Specifications:
• Style: Baroque / Louis XVI style
• Material: Cast metal (brass or bronze), mirror glass
• Origin: France (likely)
• Period: Circa 1900 (late 19th / early 20th century)
• Function: Tilt-top vanity mirror / dressing mirror

Condition:
The mirror is in a beautiful, authentic antique condition with characteristic signs of age. The metal has a gorgeous patina aged over time, with occasional light oxidation traces (such as the charming green tint at the top), which accentuates its historical value and authenticity. The mirror glass is original and shows the typical, atmospheric weathering (water spots/specks) inherent to authentic antique mirrors and adds extra soul to the piece. The tilt mechanism functions properly. See the photos for a full and detailed personal impression.
