Antique Italian Lucerna Oil Lamp with 4 Burners and Original Accessories - Brass/Bronze - 19th Century

Beautiful antique Florentine "Lucerna" oil lamp (commonly also known as a snot-nose) made of solid brass/bronze, dating from the 19th century.
This classic lamp is a wonderful example of early lighting technology and was often used as a household lamp or a travel souvenir from Italy.
The oil reservoir features four burners (wicks) and is height-adjustable along the entire vertical rod via a screw mechanism. The top of the rod ends in an elegant, decorative handle.
Unique to this lot:
The lamp is exceptionally complete in terms of the original maintenance tools on the chains. Where these accessories have often been lost over the years, this specimen still has:
• The original dovers / snout (in the form of scissors)
• The original wick-pointer / steker

Condition:
The lamp is in good, authentic condition with a beautiful patina built up over time. No dents or major damage. The underside of the base is intact and stable. The oil reservoir is clean inside (see photos). Supplied without the loose reflector screen.
