Description from the seller

Small nineteenth century darkroom lamp from France. Marked "Lampe Pigeon", with red round glass and light protecting chimney, lamp is made of ruby glass, tin and copper. Burner is of Lampe Pigeon, no wick present. Height is 23 cm only. We used a small candle to show the night vision in a similar darkroom lamp. Signed on the bottom "Alphonse Rougerie ". (by owner?) A very nice accessory to display.
