Candleholder - Bronze - H : 12 cm

A bronze hand-held candlestick, shaped like a griffin, made in France in the 19th century. The candleholder is combined with a matchbox holder (in the front). Both wings of the griffin are movable; the front right wing-leg supports the matchbox.
