The Hitachi SR-700 solid-state receiver, manufactured in 1972, is in good physical condition and has been tested and is working.
Description from the seller
Rare and very beautiful Hitachi receiver from the golden hi-fi era (1972-1975).
This is a very well-preserved specimen!
The combination of the brushed aluminum front with aluminum knobs and real wooden side panels gives this device a uniquely beautiful and high-quality vintage appearance.
Visually in very good condition, with the usual signs of age.
The original wooden side panels are also in very good condition. No notable damage, not even on the corners.
As for the technical side: the receiver has been cleaned inside and out and extensively tested. The scale lighting has been completely renewed.
All potentiometers and switches have been cleaned, so there is no crackling of knobs or switches.
The receiver features various input options, including a very good phono input.
The tuner section has crystal-clear FM stereo reception, and the tuning is very selective, even with a simple wire as an antenna.
The sound quality is truly fantastic, with that characteristic warm and punchy 1970s sound.
Please view the extensive photo report; it is part of the object description.
The receiver is packed with utmost care and shipped insured with tracking.
The stated shipping costs are for mainland Europe. For overseas territories and islands (Canary Islands, Azores, Madeira) shipping costs on request. We always seek the most affordable and reliable way to ship the equipment.
