Pair of silvered metal salt and pepper shakers — attributed to Benedict-Proctor, Canada, 20th century
Elegant matching pair of table salt and pepper shakers, in a salt shaker and pepper shaker style, featuring a slender, faceted body resting on a flared hexagonal base. The domed and pierced lids are topped with a turned knob.
The two pieces bear beneath their base a monogram “BP” in a diamond, the marking “SILVER PLATED” and the number “30”.
A beautiful addition to a vintage-style table, or a pretty piece for collectors of Canadian silver-plated metal objects.

A matching pair of vintage silver plate salt and pepper shakers by Benedict-Proctor Mfg. Co. of Trenton, Ontario, Canada In very good vintage condition, with bright, shiny surfaces.
Each shaker has a faceted octagonal body, a pedestal base and an acorn finial. The pierced dome tops unscrew for filling. Both bases are marked with the BP diamond logo and model number 36.
A lovely addition to a vintage table setting, or a nice piece for collectors of Canadian silverplate.
