Pioneer - SX-780 Solid state stereo receiver

Vintage Pioneer SX-790 Stereo Receiver (1978-1980) - Excellent condition, serviced

Magnificent and exclusive analog stereo receiver Pioneer SX-790, manufactured in Japan during the golden era of high-fidelity audio (Hi-Fi) between 1978 and 1980.
The SX-790 shares exactly the same prestigious internal engineering and circuitry as the legendary Pioneer SX-780, but it differs by its elegant and coveted black dial, a much rarer and exclusive aesthetic variant that was mainly intended for international and European markets.
It offers real power of 45 watts per channel in direct current (DC), delivering that classic, warm, and detailed sound so characteristic of Pioneer. It also features an excellent Class A phono preamp, ideal for getting the most out of your turntable.

Technical and cosmetic condition:
• Aesthetics: In outstanding condition (see photos). The wooden cabinet shows a beautiful grain pattern and is very well cared for. The aluminum front panel and the dials are pristine, with minimal signs of wear from age.
• Technical: The unit has been completely serviced, checked, and cleaned by professionals. The potentiometers have been desoxidized (no crackling), critical components tested, and the internal illumination works perfectly. It sounds truly wonderful!
