Description from the seller
Here is a classic, robust, and fascinating vintage camera with a historic flavor: the Robot Star (enamel-logo version), produced in Germany by the historic Otto Berning & Co. facilities starting in 1952.
The lot presents itself in good overall condition, fully functional.
Optics: The original Schneider-Kreuznach Radionar 38mm f/3.5 lens appears structurally intact and completely free of mold or scratches. A natural vintage patina due to time is noted, a completely natural detail for a lens of this era.
Mechanical: The lot has been tested and is functioning, with the distinctive upper mainspring motor operational.
Aesthetics: Good overall condition of the camera body and the lens barrel, as documented by the photographs. The solid, hefty metal construction retains a strong collectible visual appeal, free of structural dents, showing only natural signs of use on the coating and finishes.
