Italian iron bench anvil on a wooden base, dating from 1960–1970, in good used condition with small signs of age and stains.
Description from the seller
An attractive and sturdy antique table/bench anvil with two horns, complete with its original solid wood supporting base. This kind of tool, characterized by the classic twin-horn shape (one conical and one pyramidal), was the preferred work instrument of goldsmiths, jewelers, watchmakers and artisans for small forging, stamping and precision repair jobs.
The anvil retains its beautiful patina of time, showing wear and usage marks that enhance its authenticity and historical character. The metal body is firmly anchored to the wooden base with dedicated screws, ensuring stability. Perfect both as a collectible piece or industrial/vintage-style decorative element, and as a functional tool for light artisan work.
