This German vintage mobile trolley from 1970–1980 has a modernist, mid-century design, chrome, wood and board construction, two tiers and wheels, and is in good used condition with minor signs of age and imperfections.
Description from the seller
Vintage mobile cart in a modernist style, inspired by the Bauhaus aesthetic.
Mobile table with a geometric, economical form, made of chrome-plated metal and equipped with two levels and wheels enabling easy movement. The combination of metal frame with black shelves creates a striking contrast, characteristic of many modernist designs of the 20th century.
The cart form nods to Bauhaus ideas – an approach that combined simplicity of form, functionality, and use of modern materials. Its geometric construction, restrained decoration, and emphasis on practical use align with the aesthetics of modernism and Bauhaus-inspired design.
Thanks to its mobility and universal form, it can serve as a bar, an auxiliary table, a mobile shelf for books and magazines, or a display unit. It will be an interesting addition to modernist, minimalist, industrial, and eclectic interiors.
Materials: chrome-plated metal, black shelves, and plastic elements.
Condition: used item with visible signs of wear over time. The black surfaces have scratches, abrasions, and localized coating losses. The metal elements show signs of use, and the wheels have discoloration and scratches. The item retains its original character along with visible signs of use.
Dimensions:
- Height: 59 cm
- Width: 64 cm
- Depth: 26 cm
