Description from the seller
Wood and glass corner cabinet – Louis XV style – Two removable parts
Elegant corner piece in Louis XV style, adorned with moldings, sculpted motifs and a shell-framed pediment with volutes.
Its brown hue with amber undertones and its patina give it a lot of charm.
The upper part features a glass door with six panes, ideal for displaying crockery or collectables.
An open niche separates this display cabinet from the lower storage area, closed by a solid door with molded decoration.
The furniture is composed of two separable parts: the upper section detaches from the base, greatly facilitating handling, packing, and transport.
Very good overall condition, with a few signs of use related to age.
Keys are present and both doors open correctly.
There is a small hole at the back, probably for cable passage, though its original purpose is not certain.
Specifications:
Style: Louis XV.
Estimated period: first half of the 20th century
Country of origin: France
Materials: wood, glass, and metal fittings.
Wood type: walnut
Color: warm brown with amber tones.
Overall height: 210 cm.
Maximum width: 85 cm. Structure: two separable parts.
A beautiful piece of furniture for arranging a corner of a living room, dining room, or office, while providing storage and display space.
