Description from the seller

Elegant Drum Table Auxiliary Style Transition (Louis XV / Louis XVI) with Marquetry and Bronze
Beautiful auxiliary piece or living-room table in an oval form (tambour table or chiffonière style), made in the second half of the 20th century following the refined standards of 18th-century French classical cabinetry. A highly decorative piece, ideal for classic living rooms, bedrooms, or exclusive design environments.
Style: Transition Style. It combines the slender curved cabriole legs typical of Louis XV with the geometric structure, symmetry, and moldings characteristic of Louis XVI.
Materials: Built from noble woods (mahogany and walnut) with superb veneer work and contrasting geometric marquetry on the front door and the lower shelf, all finished in a brilliant mirrored varnish.
Ornamentation: Rich decorative mounts of bronze or gold-plated brass on the upper part of the legs (bronze drops with classic motifs), a subtle handle on the central door, and a perforated perimeter brass gallery that protects the top surface.
Approximate dimensions: 75 cm (Height) x 50 cm (Width) x 40 cm (Depth).
Approximate weight: 10 – 15 kg.
Condition: Very good state of preservation. The wood shows excellent grain and sheen, the structure is solid, and the door closes properly. Shows minimal signs of use and age that do not alter its beauty.
