Description from the seller

RICOH Ricohflex Model VII – shutter speeds measured on a tester.

• Shutter speeds measured on a shutter tester – results below.
• Condition: Good – 1 issue, fully disclosed under Known Issues.

About this camera
The Ricohflex Model VII (1954) is the twin-lens reflex that made medium-format photography affordable in post-war Japan; Riken Optical built it in huge numbers and sparked a nationwide TLR boom. Its geared front-cell focusing, Riken Ricoh Anastigmat 80mm f/3.5 lenses and simple everset shutter give 6x6 cm negatives on 120 roll film, viewed through a bright waist-level finder - a charming and usable entry point to square-format photography.

Measured Performance
- 1 s — measured 1/1.1 s (approx. 0.1 stop fast)
- 1/50 — measured 1/51 s (on the mark)
- 1/400 — measured 1/318 s (approx. 0.3 stop slow)
The leaf shutter fires; speeds measured within the normal range.

Condition
Appearance: scuffs and scratches from normal use. Please check the photos for details.
Lens: clear, no issues
Viewfinder: waist-level finder clear

Known Issues
1. The slow shutter speeds occasionally hang.

Included: only what is shown in the photos.
As a used item, minor imperfections may exist that are not individually described.
