Philips - MCM906 - Tube Receiver Stereo set

Go all in on the quality sound of the Philips microsystem on a component basis with a silk dome tweeter. The elegant wooden speakers and aluminum housing improve the sound quality and ensure precision and control.

First-class HiFi tubes for a beautifully pure and natural sound.

With the built-in HiFi tubes you now have access to the high-quality sound that is normally only associated with audio systems from the very top end. The tubes are analog and therefore produce a sound that is better able to be processed by our non-linear hearing. Sound from a tube is less distorted and is better because it sounds clear, warm and lifelike.

mp3/WMA-CD, CD and CD-RW playback

With audio compression technology, large digital music files can be compressed up to ten times without the sound quality deteriorating drastically. MP3 and WMA are two compression formats that let you play a world of music on your Philips player. Download MP3 or WMA tracks from legal music websites on the Internet or rip your audio CDs to MP3 or WMA files and transfer them to your player.
