Exceptional large antique cut-crystal champagne cooler an impressive statement piece distinguished by its monumental proportions and exceptionally rich hand-cut decoration.
Crafted in very heavy clear crystal, the cooler features a spectacular combination of deep geometric cutting, large intersecting facets, diamond motifs and finely cut radiating starbursts. The elaborate decoration covers almost the entire body, producing remarkable brilliance and dramatic reflections when exposed to light.
Its unusually large size makes it particularly suitable as a champagne or wine cooler, while its sculptural quality also allows it to be displayed as a decorative centrepiece or large crystal vase.
The piece is entirely handmade and displays the quality and weight associated with fine antique crystal. In perfect antique condition, with normal traces of age and use. There are several microscopic missing the rim.
