Handle (2) - 1850-1900

A splendid pair of original antique drop-handle pulls, ideal for restoring antique furniture, dressers, desks, or cupboards dating from the late 19th or early 20th century (Victorian/Eastlake style).
The handles are distinguished by the elegant textural contrast between the finely worked metal and the warmth of turned wood.
Top rosettes in pierced metal, nickel-silvered brass with raised floral/geometric decorations; the central pendant in dark ebonized wood (dark brown/black).
Drop-shaped hanging body connected by a ring, complete with a threaded rear pin and a small decorative lower brass terminal.
Excellent vintage condition, they show a beautiful original patina of time that attests to their authenticity. The wood is intact and the oscillating mechanisms are perfectly functional.
They can be purchased for conservative restoration of antique furniture, restyling projects and creations in the “Shabby Chic” or “Industrial Vintage” style. Also for collectors of hardware and vintage objects.
