Up for sale is the innovative U-Boat Capsoil Chrono (Ref. 8111/C), a timepiece that masterfully combines bold Italian design with cutting-edge Swiss engineering.
The standout feature of this watch is its entire case being completely submerged in a specialized, low-viscosity transparent oil. This fluid-fill creates an incredible optical illusion: it eliminates all internal reflections, making the matte black dial appear infinitely deep and three-dimensional. The beige Super-LumiNova hands and markers look as if they are floating completely free inside the crystal. A single, dynamic air bubble moves across the dial to compensate for temperature changes, adding a fascinating visual element to the wrist.
Featuring a 45mm robust stainless steel case with the crown uniquely positioned on the left side (destro), it wears incredibly comfortably despite its bold presence. The watch is powered by a high-torque, Swiss electro-mechanical quartz movement specially modified by U-Boat to operate perfectly in the oil bath.
