This Italian wall mirror from 1970–1980 has a gilded brass frame with floral decoration and integrated backlighting, in the Hollywood Regency style.
Description from the seller
Illuminated wall mirror dating from the second half of the 20th century, inspired by the Hollywood Regency aesthetic that gained great popularity during the 1970s. The piece stands out for its elegant structure in gilt brass, conceived as a delicate lattice of undulating lines that envelop the central glass and impart visual lightness to its silhouette. The floral decoration, executed in repousé and molded brass, concentrates at the top and bottom of the frame with roses in full bloom, veined leaves, and stylized stems that evoke a refined naturalistic language of ornamental character.
The mirror presents a softly irregular outline that breaks with conventional geometric shapes and accentuates its scenographic character. The integrated backlighting on the backside creates a halo around the piece, enhancing the warm shine of the gilt brass and adding visual depth to the ensemble. This lighting effect, so characteristic of seventies decorative design, makes the mirror a functional element and at the same time a focal point of great aesthetic impact.
The combination of noble materials, floral ornamentation, and ambient light perfectly reflects the glamorous spirit of the Hollywood Regency trend, a style that fuses classical sophistication with the decorative luxury typical of interiors of its era. Ideal for entrances, bedrooms, or living rooms, this mirror adds elegance, brightness, and a marked vintage accent with reminiscences of American cinematic glamour.
Certified shipping and good packaging.
