Strongbox - Wood, Iron - Antique strongbox

Antique wooden chest reinforced with iron with an old lock, probably eighteenth century or earlier.

The chest is in good structural condition but the wood shows the usual signs of wear from time; woodworm treatment has been carried out. It is an excellent decorative object as a storage trunk, a place to store fabrics, or anything else to display in homes or shops.

Dimensions: 47 cm high, 62 cm wide, 48 cm deep
