Description from the seller
The Technics RS-M02 is a legendary compact cassette deck produced by the famous Japanese brand between 1979 and 1982.
Despite its modest size, this model is known for its high level of build quality and for its excellent audio and recording performance.
The capstan motor is Direct Drive, so there are no drive belts that deteriorate over time, causing speed variations and even making it unusable if they break.
There are four selectors, so you can use the four tape types: normal, CrO2, FeCr, metal.
The construction is truly very robust; almost everything is made of aluminum, including the front panel, which is also die-cast aluminum.
The recorder is fully functional both for playback and recording, and all of its functions are operational.
Fast wind is quick and effortless.
Esthetically it is in excellent condition, especially for its age, with minor signs of wear perfectly consistent with its years.
To understand the true cosmetic condition, look very carefully at the published photos which are real and form part of the description.
